It has evolved from public meetings held in March 2009 and 2010, and was formally constituted in July 2010.

Aims and Objectives:

  • To preserve and protect the legacy  of the pool gifted to our local community.
  • To promote the continued provision of an excellent swimming and leisure facility for both local people and visitors to the area.
  • To encourage and support excellence in the management of the Pool, its facilities, services and surrounds.
  • To explore and develop options and solutions for the above objectives by offering proposals, raising funds, support for promotion, steer, and broad community consultation through formal liason.
  • Interact with the Parish Council and provide a representative for the Hathersage Parish Council Recreation Committee
