Aims and Objectives
Friends of Hathersage Pool was set up to support, preserve, protect and promote Hathersage Swimming Pool. It has evolved from public meetings held in March 2009 and 2010, and was formally constituted in July 2010.
Aims and Objectives:
- To preserve and protect the legacy of the pool gifted to our local community.
- To promote the continued provision of an excellent swimming and leisure facility for both local people and visitors to the area.
- To encourage and support excellence in the management of the Pool, its facilities, services and surrounds.
- To explore and develop options and solutions for the above objectives by offering proposals, raising funds, support for promotion, steer, and broad community consultation through formal liason.
- Interact with the Parish Council and provide a representative for the Hathersage Parish Council Recreation Committee
